I got to spend a Sunday afternoon with the Miller family. It was a bright and sunny day. They have a big backyard, perfect for photographing! The sun was already starting to set so it made for some beautiful light. Jon and Nichole have 2 children, Lillibelle and Zeke. Lillibelle was showing me her tricycle and Zeke was hamming it up in front of the camera! The kids were lively and very photogenic. I couldn’t ask for a better family to photograph.
Now that the Christmas season is well underway, I thought I would post some photos of Briar. With each holiday we get out Little People from Fisher-Price for him to play with. He currently is playing with the Nativity set and Santa and his reindeer. Briar also enjoys looking at (and try to touch) the Christmas trees. Beth is constantly showing him all the different ornaments. On a side note, his Superman shirt is my favorite shirt he owns!

I have to say that Christmas is my favorite holiday. Not because of the presents, but because of all the decorations, music and fellowship! On Black Friday, Beth and I put away the Thanksgiving/Autumn decorations and put out our Christmas decorations. At our old house, we had all the decorations in the family room but since we moved into a larger home, they are more spread out. We no longer have a fireplace so we now hang our stockings above the television. Hey, it works! We currently have two trees, soon to have three. There just isn’t enough branches to hold all the ornaments. Beth collects glass blown ornaments and I must say, not every one makes it onto the trees. So here is a look at our new home, decorated for Christmas. (This photos is a panorama of 5 photos stitched together.)
