It has been a year since I last photographed John & Danielle. In that time, they moved into their new home in Quakertown and had a little girl named “Penny” who is now 6 months old. Let me just say that she is the cutest lil’ girl you will ever meet. Her smile will just warm your heart and light up the room. We decided to shot at a local apple orchard. It couldn’t have worked out to be a better place. The apples were everywhere and we took advantage of it. The next day we went to a pumpkin patch. The sun was shining and it was HOT! John picked some pumpkins and we had a ball. Thanks so much John and Danielle for sharing your home and allowing me to take these amazing photos of your beautiful family. Till next time!
The Finley backyard. The sunset was so amazing we just had to capture it.
The next day we went to a pumpkin patch.
Mallory turns 4 months old today! She is super sweet, not to mention adorable! And her parents, Kyle & Alison are two of the kindest people you will ever meet. You can just feel the love they have for Mallory! Thanks again to the Hofmann Family for allowing me to capture some great memories!

My brother Tim and his wife Jess are expecting. This is great news! When they went to their ultrasound, they instructed the doctor not to tell them the sex of the baby but to write it down and put it in a sealed envelope. Then gave that envelope to my Mom to give to a bakery. A bakery? Yes, a bakery. They were to make a cake with dyed vanilla cake – blue, it’s a boy and pink, it’s a girl. On May 29 the time came to have the party for the cake cutting. Friends and family were all in attendance to see what color the cake would be.

And it’s a…

GIRL!!!!!

Congrats on your little girl Tim & Jess. Hope Lynn Dunbar!
On Thursday, January 6, 2011 Charlie Tuchscherer entered the world. His parents, Andrew and Jen, are very close friends of mine. While at work, I got the call from Andrew that they couldn’t hang out on Friday because, well… Charlie arrived! This was great news. Beth and I went to visit the Tuchscherer family the very next day. Hey, we still got to see them on Friday, just not at their house! Jen was still exhausted and didn’t want a lot of pictures of her taken. I can respect that. Though I did sneak one in. Andrew is a very proud Papa and the photos speak for themselves. On Sunday after they were home, we brought them food and hung out for a little. Briar was with us this time. It was his first time seeing a newborn. He was curious. So congrats to Andrew and Jen, we can’t wait to see more of little Charlie!

Briar’s first Christmas and our first Christmas having family eat at our house! Though I forgot to take food and dinner shots. (Oh well) We had my parents, Beth’s parents, my siblings and my two aunts and cousins over; it was a full house! In the morning Briar opened his presents that Santa left him. He did a pretty good job opening them but he did need our assistance. Then Beth and I exchanged our gifts to each other. Later, Briar opened his presents from his Nanny & Pappy and aunts & uncle. He got Vans, clothes, toys and a Radio Flyer wagon! Everyone raved about Beth’s dinner (which was great) and we all talked and played with the little guy. Thanks to Beth for taking some of the photos that I was in, she did a great job!
