I got to spend a Sunday afternoon with the Miller family. It was a bright and sunny day. They have a big backyard, perfect for photographing! The sun was already starting to set so it made for some beautiful light. Jon and Nichole have 2 children, Lillibelle and Zeke. Lillibelle was showing me her tricycle and Zeke was hamming it up in front of the camera! The kids were lively and very photogenic. I couldn’t ask for a better family to photograph.

I have known Bianca since junior high. We shared a lot of art classes together and have a lot of fond memories. We lost touch after high school but through Facebook we have reconnected. Bianca is now married with 3 beautiful children and shares a love for photography as well. This year Bianca wanted to do a themed Christmas photo…the Simpsons! I LOVED this idea and couldn’t wait to get together with her and shoot. So we did a family photo swap. She photographed my family and I photographed hers. So we set a date for the first Saturday in December at Longs Park in Lancaster. We had such a great time that we are looking forward to getting together again (when the weather is warmer!). Merry Christmas Cordova-Cogley Family!

Saturday, October 8th, Brown’s Orchard in Emigsville had Fall Fest. It was a day full of fun. There were games, mazes, fire trucks and oh yeah, pumpkins! It was a beautiful day to spend with our friends, The Hogentoglers. Afterwards we went to John Rudy Park to let the kids play. And they loved it. It is always great to see Briar and Kara together and it is great to spend time with friends.

It was a crazy month for birthdays! We had Briar’s, my Grandmother’s, Mine, Beth’s and my brother, Tim and finally Briar’s friend, Max. Oh and tomorrow we are going to Kara’s 1st birthday. WOW!

On March 18th, Max turned two! His party was held at Gymboree in Lancaster. I was never there before but let me tell you, this place is AWESOME! Not only did all the kids have fun, but I am pretty sure a lot of us “adults” did too. If you have never heard of Gymboree it is a place where you can take your toddlers to for some activities. A gym for kids. They have mats laid out everywhere (saftey first) with slides, monkey bars, tubes to crawl through, you name it! When it came time for cake, Max had an amazing dinosaur ice cream cake! Then the party was over any everyone got a stamp on their hand. It was a great day! Thanks again Kristy and Eric for inviting us, we had a blast!

Max shows Briar his dinosaurs.

The many faces of Max.

It was a long day!

I took off the week between Christmas and New Years to spend time with my family. Briar is loving the Mommy and Daddy time. Between Briar’s nap times and bed times, Beth has been getting her scrapbook together and I have been working away on editing the holiday photos. There is so many photos that I think I am going to split them into two different posts – Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Beth and I went a tad overboard with presents, but hey, it was his first Christmas! But for now I will leave you with these photos I took tonight before bed. Briar was just so happy and the photos were too cute not to work on right away. My Briar Bear.
