Saturday, October 8th, Brown’s Orchard in Emigsville had Fall Fest. It was a day full of fun. There were games, mazes, fire trucks and oh yeah, pumpkins! It was a beautiful day to spend with our friends, The Hogentoglers. Afterwards we went to John Rudy Park to let the kids play. And they loved it. It is always great to see Briar and Kara together and it is great to spend time with friends.
I took these photos of Briar while photographing the Finleys at AGA Farms.
It has been a year since I last photographed John & Danielle. In that time, they moved into their new home in Quakertown and had a little girl named “Penny” who is now 6 months old. Let me just say that she is the cutest lil’ girl you will ever meet. Her smile will just warm your heart and light up the room. We decided to shot at a local apple orchard. It couldn’t have worked out to be a better place. The apples were everywhere and we took advantage of it. The next day we went to a pumpkin patch. The sun was shining and it was HOT! John picked some pumpkins and we had a ball. Thanks so much John and Danielle for sharing your home and allowing me to take these amazing photos of your beautiful family. Till next time!
The Finley backyard. The sunset was so amazing we just had to capture it.
The next day we went to a pumpkin patch.
My family took a vacation to Myrtle Beach mid August, pre-Irene. We took 2 days to drive down. We left on Friday after dinner and drove to Rocky Mount, NC. Saturday’s drive wasn’t bad at all except for the passing shower. When we finally arrived the rain had stopped so we went out on the beach with Briar since he hasn’t seen the ocean since October and probably doesn’t remember what it is. At first he was excited but when the water splashed his feet he got a little scared. He was unsure of what to think of it. Later Sam, my sister’s boyfriend, did a mock apparel photo shoot. The entire week was great, the weather was hot and the ocean temp was great! We spent a lot of time at Broadway at the Beach. It has great shops and food. I definitely recommend checking it out if you are ever there.
Last week my family went on vacation to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. It was the first time there. Great friends of ours, the Hogentogler & Williams family have been going there for years and told us about it. Consequently, they just happen to be going the same week we were. Before our trip Kyle & Ellie asked me if I would do a family shoot at the beach. It was a lot of fun! We walked down to the Surfside Pier to take some shots. On the way back Kyle began to chase Kara around. She is a joy to be around and always brings smiles to faces. This is a long one so thanks for checking it out!
